While ….in Venice
I discovered such a beautiful place to stay so it was mandatory to share the location and the info you need to get in touch with the owner in order to book the apartment. So email to Marco at info@biancatea.com and ask for availability and price. Is near Rialto Bridge, easy to reach from airport, close to San Marco Square, you will find a lot of places to eat.
If you arrive at Venice in Marco Polo airport and you have accommodation in Venice, in one of its districts, the best way to reach will be vaporetto- Allilaguna lines http://www.alilaguna.it/en For instance to reach Rialto bridge you will need Orange line, one way ticket costs 30 euro, if you buy a return ticket is 27 euro/way. Easy to buy from airport, don’t forget to ask at the counter a city map. In case that you reach Venice in Treviso then a shuttle bus ( available also from Marco Polo airport) will take you to Piazzale Roma from where you can go by step or taking public transport- vaporetto. You have options with 1 day pass or 3 days pass, but if you will use it moderate better explore Venice by step.
For a nice view from above starting this year you can visit the new T Fondaco Gallery in Venice ( opened in 2017) and for free you have access to the roof top. All you need is to book in advance, you can also try while you are there, but there are limited places. About Gondolas you can try a 50 minutes ride and the prices are between 80-100 euros. No more than 5 people in the boat and is better to talk all the details in advance, about route, time and the price. My recommendation is to try first a short route, crossing Grand Canale from the front of The Fish Market, near Rialto market and you will see if a ride with a gondola suits you and you will pay less than 1 euro.
