Why should you choose Bologna?
Bologna is an old beautiful Italian city, the capital of Emilia-Romagna region, but also called La Grassa because of the delicious food that makes this city a culinary attraction.
For me Bologna is the city of arcades, with many red brick buildings, beautiful people and their habit of enjoying good Italian coffee and tasting delicious meals.
Every part of Italy has something special to offer and Bologna definitely worth a visit at least for:
- The first European University, founded in 1088

- The biggest Italian brick building- San Pietro
- Palazzo Comunale- the medieval palace with its little museum Colezzioni Comunali d’Arte
- Palazzo del Podesta- renaissance style
- San Petronio is the biggest church in Bologna, 300 years took to build it
- The gates of the city
- The two towers as the symbol of the city, the two left from 180 defense towers that Bologna once had called Torri pendenti (The Leaning Towers). Garisenda Tower has 50 meters, unfinished and Torre degli Asinelli the second one of 98.5 meters, where after climbing 486 stairs you will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the city
- Piazza Maggiore and Piazza Nettuno concentrate the most important attractions and also here you can see a lot of coffee shops and stores

- Via maggiore the most amazing old street of Bologna
- Il Gigante, the fountain of Neptune, made of bronze
- Santo Stefano a complex of churches, in one of them, San Sepolcro, you can visit the relics of St Petronius, the patron saint of the city
- Delicious Italian Food
